Lara is a political junkie, speech language pathologist, and sometimes actor. She is a graduate of Point Park University and the William Esper Studio, and has performed in regional productions of Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Into the Woods (The Baker’s Wife), Rabbit Hole (Izzy), Nuts (Claudia). She is co-creator, producer, and actor in the award-winning short film, Lady Hunters, and is currently working with the team to film the full length feature in 2021. Lara performed with Political Idol on stage in 2007 - 2008 and is thrilled to be back working with the team! VOTE.

Scott Richard Foster - Father/Husband and straight up goof. Broadway: Gettin' the Band Back Together, Brooklyn the Musical, Off-Broadway: A Musical About Star Wars, NEWSical the Musical, Forbidden Broadway, Sessions. Scott has done improv in New York at UCB and National Comedy Theater. Scott also enjoys talking in third person. TV credits include FBI Most Wanted, Shades of Blue, Blue Bloods and Turn. ANESSA MARIE
MUSIC DIRECTOR
Anessa Marie is a singer/songwriter, composer/lyricist for musical theater, music director, pianist, and orchestrator based in Manhattan. In 2019, Finding Beautiful, a new song cycle, premiered at NYMF. She is currently developing Reign, a new rock opera based on Christopher Marlowe's Edward II with Will Shishmanian. She is also currently writing "A New York Renaissance" for piano and orchestra. She is also composing the score for two soon-to-be announced film projects. She has performed at venues such as Signature Theatre, 54 Below, Joe's Pub, The Green Room 42, and Carnegie Hall. She regularly music directs concerts in the NYC cabaret circuit, and serves as Resident Music Director for Trans Voices Trans Cabaret (TVTC), a bi-monthly cabaret featuring an all-TGNC identifying cast. She also works as a gender consultant in theatre, film, and TV. She is the founder and director of the Phoenix Trans Chorus of NYC.

Enga Davis is thrilled to be reunited with this amazing cast. She has been blessed throughout her career to do voiceovers, Broadway, regional, TV, film, radio & has toured internationally. Credits: Trulicity (National); “Sisters” sketch w/ Tina Fey (Comedy Central); Happy (SyFy). She is featured in the new “Planet Word” museum in Washington, DC as the “Voice of the Karaoke Room.” Enga is a proud Hampton University graduate & resides in NYC. Proverbs 3:5-6

Robert Yarnall – Writer: member of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop (Advanced & Librettist), parody lyrics for corporations from AT&T to The Wall Street Journal; musical adaptation of Pleasantville; creator of Political Idol 2008 among many other projects. Performer: member AEA and SAG-AFTRA; roles from Prior Walter to an undercover mime and an evil marketing director. Robert is thrilled to be creating a brand new version of this show and performing with his colleagues once again.

Will Chaloner is primarily a New York based Stage Manager. Joseph DiSalle has performed with Three Rivers Shakespeare Festival, Jewish Plays Project, The Vaclav Havel Play Festival, City Theater on the South Side, Nuyorican Poets' Cafe, Pittsburgh Playhouse, Moscow Balalaikas Ensemble, Aspen Music Festival, One World Symphony, Civic Light Opera, Théâtre des Bouffes Parisiens. He impersonated 14 different celebrities in the 2008 POLITICAL IDOL! and had two of his plays produced by the Dare Project. Joseph is a proud union member.
MICHAEL GOLDFRIED

Michael Goldfried is a director and writer whose work explores sex, politics and family with a comic flair. Michael has directed numerous plays off-Broadway and regionally, and has served as Assistant Director on Broadway for Jerry Zaks. He holds an MFA in directing from Brown University and is alumni of the Drama League Director’s Project, the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, and an NEA/TCG Directing grant. He is professor of directing in NYC at Pace University, Marymount Manhattan College and the film program at the School of Visual Arts.

Quentin Madi is a NY/NJ based director/choreographer, creator, and interdisciplinary theatre artist. Projects include: The Picher Project (54 Below, Dixon Place), Bridesmaids (Symphony Space), Lady Death (in development), Two Star Motel (Shapeshifter Lab), and more. When not in the rehearsal room, Quentin is a producer, fundraiser, and arts administrator.
